The face in 50000 won bill is one of Shin Sa Im Dang, who was famous mother and artist in ancient Korea. And I don't like the style how her face was painted. She looks so cold. :P

Now, today is 1001th post/day of Han's Seoul Daily Photo.
The picture above was one candidate of 1000th anniversary's photographs, but thinking many pictures are more powerful than one, decided a thousand of pictures to be the 1000th photograph. :)
Because today is only a day after 1000th, I think it's not bad for 1001th, too. So was today's picture.
Any way, thanks to everyone who celebrate Han's Seoul Daily Photo's 1000th anniversary, and declare to you that the posting goes on again.
Maybe I can't keep everyday-posting any more because it was a little hard work for me and all the pictures cannot always be interesting for visitors. Of course, I want to set the record of 1111. But, who knows? :)

Hey, I just want to let you know that I really love your site! I am hoping to go to Korea soon, and your pictures really gave me a good impression of Seoul
Wow, that's nice to see a 50.000 won note, I was surprised to see that a 10.000 won note was the 'highest' when I was there last year.
